Shri Sai Satcharitra Reading Procedure
It said that if the complete book is read, all the wishes and desires will be fulfilled. Sai Satcharita has in total 51 chapters. Devotees can do Sai Satcharitra Parayan i.e. reading daily one chapter or Saptah Parayan that is completing the reading within a week.For that you need to start on a thursday and end by a wednesday. Daily reading of 11th and 15th chapter is recommended.
Saptah Parayan Procedure:
There is no hard and fast rules for reading this book. Only love & devotion towards Sai Baba is required. Devotees can do saptah by starting parayan on one thursday and end by Wednesday(that is 7 days). Pray to Baba for a wish,light diya, apply babas udi and start reading. Satcharitra has 51 chapters.It can be divided to 7 chapters to make reading easy for 7 days.
Day 1 - Thursday - Chapter 1 to 7
Day 2 - Friday - Chapter 8 to 15
Day 3 - Saturday - Chapter 16 to 22
Day 4 - Sunday - Chapter 23 to 30
Day 5 - Monday - Chapter 31 to 37
Day 6 - Tuesday - Chapter 38 to 44
Day 7 - Wednesday - Chapter 45 to 51
Prasad can also be offered everyday or at the end of the 7th day after complete parayan. Dakshina or Prasad should be offered on the 7th day Wednesday it should get complete. Same can be done if you do daily one chapter reading. On the 51st day you complete the reading so you can offer Dakshina and Prasad.
